So yesterday we got back from Hawaii & Disneyland. We went to Hawaii because one of my oldest and best friends got married and I was lucky enough to be her matron of honour. It was just beautiful. Tanner was stunning! The wedding took place in Waikiki, overlooking the lagoon and the ocean- it was perfect! We were there for a week, and were heading home Wednesday...or so the kids thought! The Disneyland part of our trip was a huge surprise for the kids...they had no idea! I swear, there is nothing better than a good surprise. They lost it! My son was in shock, and my daughter was screaming and jumping up and down! Just awesome! My kids haven’t stopped thanking us yet...makes it all so worth it. I knew as soon as we were home from this trip, things were going to get crazy busy with the book launch soon approaching, so I made sure that I took in every moment. It’s going to be a big change for all of us when all this really starts moving!

Right before we left for the trip, (while checking in at the airport) I got a call from Sarah about what’s going to be happening when I got home. She told me that Toronto is confirmed! I will be going to Toronto for the book tour next week and there will be tons of stuff happening when I’m there! I am trying to remember to take one day at a time, and for those who know me, you’ll have to agree, I am doing a pretty good job. I am not freaking out...yet!;) I have remained (mostly) calm. I have my official book launch at Kidsbooks on June 3rd and I can’t wait! I can’t believe we’ve made it to this point! It’s surreal for me to think that people will be there to buy my book and even crazier that they want me to sign it....my autograph, really?! I’ve spent the last thirteen or so years getting my brother's autograph for everyone...it seems so bizarre that it makes me laugh when I hear someone say it about mine!;)

Well, I’ve unpacked, done laundry (and by done, I mean I have piles of clothes to be washed on the laundry room floor;) and am ready for my 11am call from Sarah, to find out what’s next! My seat belts on...bring it!
